Pre-3 Curriculum

Social Skills

Self–motivated interaction with teachers and classmates. Participating, sharing, cooperating and following directions are all skills we work on mastering throughout the year.

Pledges & Lord’s Prayer
Daily Bible Instruction

– Lessons teach character building disciplines through daily Bible stories, songs, finger plays and recitation of Bible passages

– Children attend weekly Chapel services

 

Phonics

– Students will be introduced to letters A-Z

– Characters are used to teach letters and songs that help students remember the letters and sounds that they make

 

Numbers

– Students will be introduced to the name and concept of numbers 1-15

– Students will learn to count from 1-30

 

Color Identification

– Students will learn to identify the colors red, yellow, blue, orange, green, purple, brown and black

 

Language Development

– Students learn about, people, places and animals

 

Shape Recognition

– Students will learn to recognize a circle, square, triangle, oval, rectangle, diamond and octagon
